For example, a visit to Issigeac via Bergerac and Monbazillac

The beautiful and cosy walled medieval romantic town of Issigeac, located some 25 km south-east of us, has narrow streets in which a wealth of architectural heritage can be discovered.

There is a market every Sunday, all year round. Do go early as it can get very crowded, especially in summer.

The route towards Issigeac, through the town of Bergerac and combining it with a visit to Monbazillac, is very beautiful and gives a good impression of where you are on holiday.

You drive through the rolling vineyards south of Bergerac and Monbazillac as well as through farmland with its ever-changing yellow sunflower and linseed fields.
